FORWARD

2Timothy 3:1-7 Know this also, that in the last days grievous times will be at hand.  For men will be self-lovers, money-lovers, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  without natural affection, unyielding, false accusers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, traitors, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these. For of these are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women loaded with sins, led away with different kinds of lusts, ever learning and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth.

FULL DISCERNMENT!

John 12:37-40 But though He had done so many miracles before them, yet they did not believe on Him,  so that the saying of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”  Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.”

   1st THEY WOULDN’T, THEN THEY COULDN’T

Luke 3:22 And the Holy Spirit came down in a bodily shape, like a dove on Him. And a voice came from Heaven, which said, You are My Son, the Beloved; I am delighted in You.

WHY A DOVE = SENSITIVE TO SPIRIT

Luke 4:1-2 And Jesus, full of Holy Spirit, returned from Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness  forty days, being tempted by the Devil. And in those days He ate nothing. And they being ended, He afterward was hungry.

Luke 4:13-14 And when the Devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him for a time.
And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee. And a report went out throughout all the neighborhood concerning Him.

      WORD GETS AROUND

Luke 4:15 And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
Luke 4:16 And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And, as His custom was, He went in to the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read.

      WHAT IS YOUR PATTERN?

Luke 4:17-19 And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And unrolling the book, He found the place where it was written,
“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me; because of this He has anointed Me to proclaim the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and new sight to the blind, to set at liberty those having been crushed,  to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Acceptable=seize, now is the time to get it

Acts 1:8  But you shall receive power, the Holy Spirit coming upon you. And you shall be witnesses to Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

1Corinthians 15:33 But don’t fool yourselves. Don’t let yourselves be poisoned by this anti-resurrection loose talk. “Bad company ruins good manners.”

SOMETIMES IT’S FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND CHURCH PEOPLE!

Rom 8:11-13  It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s!
Rom 8:12  So don’t you see that we don’t owe this old do-it-yourself life one red cent.
Rom 8:13  There’s nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life.

WE HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICE FLESH OR SPIRIT!

Acts 20:22  And now, behold, I am going bound by the Spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall happen to me there,
Act 20:23 except that Holy Spirit witnesses in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions await me.
Act 20:24  But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus Christ, to testify fully the gospel of the grace of God.

Php 3:13  My brothers, I do not count myself to have taken possession, but one thing I do, forgetting the things behind and reaching forward to the things before,
Php 3:14  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

I Am List

I Am List

I AM LIST

  1. I am confident for “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” (Phil. 4:13).
  2. I am prosperous for “My God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19)
  3. I am fearless for “God has not given me the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Tim. 1:7)
  4. I am faithful , for “God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Rom. 12:3)
  5. I am strong for “The Lord is the strength of my life” (Ps. 27:1) and “The people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits” (Dan. 11:32)
  6. I am more powerful than the devil for “Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world” (I Jn. 4:4)
  7. I am victorious for “God always causes me to triumph in Christ Jesus” (2 Cor. 2:14)
  8. I am blessed with wisdom for “Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto me wisdom” (I Cor. 1:30)
  9. I am healthy, for “With His stripes I am healed” (Is. 53:5); and Jesus “Himself took my infirmities, and bare my sickness” (Matt. 8:17)
  10. I am carefree, for “Casting all my cares upon Him; for He cares for me” (I Peter 5:7).
  11. I am free from spiritual bondage, for “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Cor. 3:17); my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 6:19)
  12. I am free from condemnation, for “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” Romans 8:1
  13. I am full Act 2:4 And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Are You Kidding Me?

Are You Kidding Me?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

HOW DO WE REACT TO SOMETHING NEW

WHAT HAVE YOU SEEN THAT’S NEW? Drunk in Spirit, laughing, Holy Ghost jerks, slain in the Spirit, talking in tongues, people healed, demons cast out, gold dust, feathers, glory cloud, prophecy, and everything else!

1 Corinthians 2:9-10This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine —these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers. But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things.

JUST BECAUSE WE DON’T UNDERSTAND IT DOESN’T MEAN ITS NOT GOD!

Matthew 7:1 “Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others, and judgment will not be passed on you. For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others. The measurement you use on them will be used on you.

Act 5:34 Then one in the council stood up, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law held in respect by all the people, and commanded them to put the apostles outside for a little while.

Act 5:38 And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing;

Act 5:39 but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”

John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

1 John 2:20 But the Holy One has anointed you and you all know the truth. So I’m writing you not because you don’t know the truth, but because you do know it, and no lie belongs to the truth.

Ephesians 4:30 The Holy Spirit of God has sealed you in Jesus Christ until you experience your full salvation. So never grieve the Spirit of God or take for granted his holy influence in your life.

Mat 12:31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.

Mat 12:32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

1John 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

Heb 6:1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

Heb 6:2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

THREE BAPTISMS (1) DRY (2) WET (3) SPIRIT

(1)DRY BAPTISM BY THE SPIRIT INTO THE BODY OF CHRIST = SALVATION

1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

(2)WET BAPTISM BY JOHN INTO WATER (SYMBOLIZING DEATH)
Luk 3:3, 7, 16 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;

7. Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

PEOPLE WHAT SHALL WE DO

John 16 answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one who is mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

Matthew 3:11 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

JOHN TRANSFERRED MANTEL OF AUTHORITY AT JESUS’ BAPTISM BECAUSE HE WAS IN LINE TO BE PRIEST

Luk 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

(3)HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM

REMINDER: WHO IS BAPTIZING AND WHAT ARE THEY BEING BAPTIZED INTO?

John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

Act 1:4-5 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Act 1:6-8 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 2:4 On the day Pentecost was being fulfilled, all the disciples were gathered in one place. Suddenly they heard the sound of a violent blast of wind rushing into the house from out of the heavenly realm. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could bear! Then all at once a pillar of fire appeared before their eyes. It separated into tongues of fire that engulfed each one of them. They were all filled and equipped with the Holy Spirit and were inspired to speak in tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned!

Are You Kidding Me

Everything!

Everything!

  • EVERYTHING!

  • HAVE YOU EVER FELT THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOING WRONG?
MAGNIFYING GLASS! SURE SEEMS LIKE IT!
1Ki 19:1  And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword.
1Ki 19:2  Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.”
  • 1Ki 19:3  And when he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and went to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.
  • 1Ki 19:4  But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!”
  • THINGS THE DEVIL DOES

  • 1. LIES.. if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.” , if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.”
Psalm  7:14–15 Look how the wicked conceive their evil schemes. They go into labor with their lies and give birth to trouble. They dig a pit for others to fall into, not knowing that they will be the very ones who will fall into their own pit of failure.
  • 2. DOUBTwhen he saw that
Luke 4:3 It was then the devil said to him, “If you are really the Son of God, command this stone to turn into a loaf of bread for you.”
  • 3. ISOLATION .. he himself
1Ki 19:4  But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree

    4. DEATH.. prayed that he might die,
1Ki 19:4 . And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am no better than my father’s!”

    WHAT JESUS BRINGS US!
Romans 8:37-39 Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!
So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

    1. TRUTH NOT LIES
JOHN 14: 6 Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too. And from now on you will realize that you have seen him and experienced him.”

    2. FAITH NOT DOUBT
LUKE 17:6 Jesus responded, “If you have even the smallest measure of authentic faith, it would be powerful enough to say to this large tree, ‘My faith will pull you up by the roots and throw you into the sea,’ and it will respond to your faith and obey you.”

    3.  FAMILY NOT ISOLATION
MATTHEW 12: 46-49 While Jesus was still speaking to the crowds, his mother and brothers came and stood outside, asking for him to come out and speak with them. Then someone said, “Look, your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to have a word with you.” But Jesus just looked at him and said, “Let me introduce you to my true mother and brothers.” Then gesturing to the disciples gathered around him, he said, “Look closely, for this is my true family. When you obey my heavenly Father, that makes you a part of my true family.”

    4. LIFE NOT DEATH
JOHN 10:10 A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow!

All Things New!

All Things New!

ALL THINGS NEW

School starting watching Levi going to meet new teacher, everything is new! Sees a friend high five!
Isa 43:18-19 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Romans 8:1 So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One. So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new. And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God.

Philippians 3:13-14 I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.

Mar 10:15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

Romans 8:26And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words.

Mar 12:33-34 And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” But after that no one dared question Him.

Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

WHEN WE STEP INTO NEW WE STEP INTO PEACE

1. AUTHORITY
Romans16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

2. NO CONFUSION
1Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints

3. PROSPERITY
Acts 24:2 And when he was called upon, Tertullus began his accusation, saying: “Seeing that through you we enjoy great peace, and prosperity is being brought to this nation by your foresight,

4. RIGHTEOUSNESS
James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

5. CONFIDENCE
Galatians 2:20 “My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, and dispenses his life into mine!

2 Corinthians 5:17 Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.

1 Peter 5:7 Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.

STEP INTO GOD’S NEW AND WALK IN PEACE
