HOW ARE WE ABLE TO SAY THIS?
Isa 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
1Pe 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Mat 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,
Mat 8:17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.”
1 Corinthians 12:9 And to another, the same Spirit gives the gift of faith.
And to another, the same Spirit gives gifts of healing.
Mar 5:28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
Mar 5:29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
Mar 5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” Listen to Holy Spirit!
Mar 5:31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”
Mar 5:32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.
Mar 5:33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.
Mar 5:34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
Mar 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Mar 9:24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”
Jas 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
Elder= older; a senior; Christian “presbyter”: – elder , old.
Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Anointing= grease); fat, that is, (figuratively) sumptuous= extremely costly, rich, luxurious, or magnificent;
Compassion= sympathetic pity and concern for the sufferings or misfortunes of others.
Galatians 5: 22–23 But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.
Mat 14:14 So when Jesus landed he had a huge crowd waiting for him. Seeing so many people, his heart was deeply moved with compassion toward them, so he healed all the sick who were in the crowd.
Mar 5:17 Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.
Mar 5:18 And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.
Mar 5:19 However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.”
Mat 8:5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, Roman soldier!
Mat 8:6 saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”
Mat 8:7 And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
Mat 8:8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.
Mat 8:9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” Seen Jesus was under authority!
Mat 8:10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! Great faith produces action!
Mar 8:22 Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. Can’t do this by ourselves, he had help!
Mar 8:23 So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.
Mar 8:24 And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.”
Mar 8:25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. Sometimes we give up early! Because we trust in ourselves!
Mark 16:15 And he said to them, “As you go into all the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the gospel to the entire human race! Whoever believes the good news and is baptized will be saved, and whoever does not believe the good news will be condemned. And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.”
